ABS ESP Approved Gauging Inspection Company Drops Anchor in Alameda, CA

International Inspection, Inc. with four West coast US offices located in Seattle WA, Portland OR, Los Angeles CA and San Diego CA, has recently closed the office gap by opening their fifth office in Alameda, CA. Due to repeated requests by long time clients in the Bay Area, International Inspection has promoted long-time Marine Field Supervisor Mr. Maxwell “Max” Smith to Operations Manager of the Alameda, CA location.  International Inspection, originally founded in 1968, has operated on the West Coast for over 40 years while supporting the Marine Industry in all US Ports as well as overseas.

Providing Nondestructive Examination services to their clients, prior and post drydock, International Inspection has proven to be a beneficial team player to all Marine Industries.  Performing pre-drydock inspections and computerized reports to fleets of Oil Tankers, Container Ships, Cruise Liners, Tug and Barges as well as the Department of Navy Fleet of hundreds of ships, allows these vessel operators and owners time to properly plan for upcoming dry dock repairs and steel renewals.  Our teams of inspectors also attend drydock periods working hand in hand with the vessel Port Engineers for the duration of the drydock period verifying repairs are completed in accordance with Class rules and regulations.

Approved by all Regulatory Bodies as well as the Department of Navy, International Inspection has all inspection procedures in place as well as client specific procedures as required by Class.  International Inspection’s Written Procedures have recently been approved by Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) San Diego, CA as well as the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Seattle, WA.  These approvals from SWRMC, PSNS and IMF have opened many doors and we are happy to support the growing needs of the West coast ports and repair companies.

The International Inspection Board is very happy with the sustained growth and look forward to continued growth in the US Ports and possibly overseas.
